The City of Walnut runs on a City Manager- Council form of government. The City Council is elected at large for four year terms and elections are held every two years. The City Council directs policy and votes on issues pertaining to the City’s residents and businesses. The City Council selects a City Manager to oversee the day to day operations and direct City staff.
