Online Recreation Registration is the best way to register! Instead of planning your day around registration, with the click of a button, it can easily fit into your day! Please note that residency will be verified.
View/Register for classes and activities.
Finding an Activity: You may search for classes, excursions, and special events under the “Activities” tab by class course number. You may also search by keyword (such as excursions, dance, or art, etc.), or even by age group (i.e. all ages, youth, adults, seniors).
How to Register: To register for an activity, you will need to access or create an account for your family. Accounts are accessed by a secure and unique PIN/LOGIN ID-BARCODE number. If you or a family member registered for an activity before, then you and your family have already been assigned a PIN number. Just call our recreation office at 909-598-5605 and they will gladly provide you with this number.
How to Create an Account: If you do not have a PIN number, you may easily create one online. Go to the “My Account” tab and click on “Create a New Account” and follow the simple instructions. Once you have a PIN number, you can view your account information under the “My Account” tab.
“Shopping” for Recreation: You’ll notice you have an option to view “My Basket.” Once you have an account established, this area displays all the activities for which you have selected to register. When you are ready to complete the registration, the system will confirm your registration and payment. If an activity is already filled, you will be invited to be placed on a waiting list and you will not be charged for that activity at this time.
More Information: There is also a “Help Desk” tab which displays the 21 most commonly asked questions and answers regarding general information on the registration system, account information, registration information, cancellations, withdrawals, and refunds.
Payment Methods: Visa and MasterCard are accepted methods of payments. Transactions are processed securely using VeriSign, an Internet payment security system.
Optional Sites to Register Online: If computer access is a problem, we have the solution! The Walnut Public Library has computers available for use. You will need a current L.A. Co. library card. Their hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm or Friday and Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Photo Policy: On occasion, staff or independent photographers of the Community Services Department may take photographs or videos of participants in our programs, parks, and special events. Please be aware that these are for the department's use in future brochures, pamphlets or for local public access. If you object to having photos of you or your family used for future publication, you should notify the photographer at the time the photo is taken.
